Doing Post Graduation in Engish from Swami vivekananda university, Graduation English hons from Ignou and B.Ed Pailan college of Education competed. Before English hons was doing Zoology hons but left after 2nd year. Father retired as Senior section Engineer from South Eastern railways . Mother homemaker. Born and brought up in Kharagpur. Previously she has completed her Bachelor's from Nalanda Open University Patna with Sociology Honours with first division and second topper in her subject in her University.
